Background & Credit Check Identity Verification – Confirming government-issued IDs (driver’s license, passport, etc.). Credit Check – Reviewing credit history and debt obligations to ensure financial reliability. Criminal Background Check – Screening for major offenses (varies by location and co-living provider). 3. Income & Employment Verification Many co-living operators require proof of income to confirm that tenants can afford rent.
